I spent 11 years teaching Spanish in Monroe and Fairfield Public Schools before focusing on private tutoring. I have been working as a private tutor since 2017.
I loved being a middle and high school Spanish teacher, and my students would often tell me that Spanish was their favorite class! However, as hard as I tried there was never enough time to help each student individually. So here I am now--helping students with the Spanish language one-on-one! Having many years of experience in high-performing districts, I know what is expected of students.
That classroom experience provides an important advantage. I understand how Spanish is taught in middle and high school, where students commonly struggle, and how earlier gaps in understanding can affect more advanced material.
